A national registration fee forms part of the fees paid by the member to their club and state association. The income generated by the fee assists Skate Qld to provide the quality and services and programs required.
DEVELOPMENT Those persons participating in intra-club competitions and programs, including those against CompetitiveMembers.
They may participate in inter-club Novice and Development Level competitions within their own state but only against other Development Members unless an exemption applies as follows:
Competitive members may compete against members in an inter-club Novice or Development Level Artistic competition provided the Competitive member is not competing in their primary artistic discipline.
The may participate in Bronze Bar Proficiency Tests„h They may not participate in State Leagues, State or National Championships
They must be a member of a club unless they reside outside forty (40) kilometer radius from the nearest registered club in which case they will be known as "unattached" Development Member.
They may hold office in the Association, its committees, States or their committees, and at club level (subject to the rules pertaining to that group).
They may upgrade to competitive member with the payment of prescribed upgrade fees.
COMPETITIVE Those persons participating in inter-club competitions including state leagues, state championships, national championships and international events.
They may participate in Proficiency Medal tests (subject to the rules relating to those programs) .They must be a member of a club unless they reside outside forty (40) kilometer radius from the nearest registered club in which case they will be known as "unattached" Competitive Member.
They may hold office in the Association and its committees (subject to the rules pertaining to those groups).
They may not re-join the Association as a Development level member at any time.
*The full amount of membership fee (and not just the difference)must be paid for Upgrades during the calendar year
