Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name's Jon Acosta, and welcome to my course, Premiere Pro CC 360 Degree Video. I'm the executive producer over at Pixelynx Labs. If you're familiar with the term Google Cardboard or ever heard of VR headsets, then you probably know there's a revolution happening within video marketing. It's called 360 video, and as a fellow editor, this new form of visual storytelling creates an enormous opportunity for you to produce groundbreaking video experiences that your audience and clients have never seen before. This course will teach you how to edit 360 video content inside of Premiere Pro CC so you can create immersive videos for yourself and your clients. Some of the major topics that we'll cover include understanding the power of 360 degree video in modern marketing, how to import and evaluate VR ready content in Premiere Pro CC for optimal 360 editing, how to add 2D elements and text into a 360 degree environment, post-processing tips and tricks using SkyBox 360/VR Tools inside of Premiere Pro, and how to export your final video for VR headset viewing and online sharing. We'll be simulating a real-world project inside of Premiere Pro with a series of video clips, each with an editing challenge that can be difficult to fix for non-experienced 360 editors. I'll make sure you understand these issues and how to fix them fast using advanced tools inside of Adobe Premiere Pro CC. By the end of this course, you'll have the ability to create fully immersive 360 degree video content that can be uploaded to platforms like YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo and played back on any virtual reality headset or panoramic video player. Before beginning this course, you should have access to Adobe Premiere Pro 2017 or later and a copy of the Skybox 360/VR Tool plugin. Intermediate to advanced experience with Premier Pro is also recommended. I hope you'll join me on this journey to creating 360 degree video inside of Premiere Pro CC right here at Pluralsight.
