Introduction and Project Overview
Hi there. I'm Pierre with Digital Tutors, an Autodesk authorized publisher. In this set of tutorials, you'll learn how to draw your very first set of architectural plans in AutoCAD. We'll get started by working on a floor plan of a small residential project. We'll begin with our exterior and interior walls of the floor plan. We'll learn a few tips and tools on how to quickly and efficiently draw walls that will define each space throughout that floor plan. Next we'll learn how to quickly draw the doors and windows that will populate that same floor plan and once that floor plan is complete, we'll then focus our attention on how to create elevation drawings of the home we're designing and we'll also learn a few tips on how to add some depth to those elevation drawings. So with that, I'm ready to get started and I'll see you in the next lesson.
