Hi everyone. My name is Thomas Winkley, and welcome to my course, Audition CC 2017 Fundamentals. I've engineered numerous podcasts and I'm also an editor here at Pluralsight. Whether you're on a marketing team, in a production studio wanting to learn the basics of audio, or just want to be able to edit your own personal projects, Adobe Audition is a powerful tool that is incredibly scalable to your needs. This course is designed to give you a tour of Audition's main features and get you up and mixing right away. Some of the major topics that we will cover include setting up a project and getting your files imported, basic mixing, editing, and effects, these'll include reverb, compression, equalization, spectral analysis, and noise reduction. Finally, we'll go over setting up custom workspaces, session templates, and how to export your project. By the end of this course, you'll know everything you need to get up and running in Audition and start producing your own high quality mixes. There isn't a lot you need to know to be ready for this course, but a basic understanding of audio definitely helps.
